HIGH TECHNOLOGY HOOK (HTH)
High Technology Hook (HTH) 888
The High Technology Hook (HTH) 888 is a single-component, self-engaging fastener with polyethylene hook on one side and a nylon engageable loop backing. It has a medium life cycle (approximately 500 cycles depending on application). VELCRO® Brand fasteners are used for cable management and all applications where bundling is necessary. They are also used for government applications and meet the military specification AA-55126-C. The High Technology Hook (HTH) 888 is designed to be used as a self-engaging tape.

High Technology Hook (HTH) 889
The High Technology Hook (HTH) 889 is a single-component, self-engaging fastener with a polypropylene hook on one side and a nylon engageable loop backing. It has a medium life cycle (approx. 500 cycles depending on application) used for cable management and meets National Electric Code (NEC) standards (section 300.22, C and D) for use in plenum space and meets the following Federal Aviation Regulations:
• FAR 25.853, Appendix F, Part (a)(1)(ii) for 12 second
• FAR 25.853, Appendix F, Part (a)(1)(iv) for 15 second
• FAR 25.853, Appendix F, Part (a)(1)(i) for 60 second MVSS 302, Plenum Rating and UL Certified
